Key mixing makes transitions smoother. The Camelot wheel gives every key a number (1-12) and a letter (A = minor, B = major). Safe moves from any track: same number and letter, one step up or down (8A to 7A or 9A), or switch letter on the same number (8A to 8B). Example: A minor is 8A, so it mixes well with 7A, 9A and C major (8B). rekordbox and Mixed In Key can show Camelot keys for your library.
