These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of stemmusicacademy.com and the services offered on it — online DJ and music-production courses, the LaunchPath community membership, mentor sessions, contests, and enrolment in our in-person training programs (together, the "Services") — operated by Stem Music Academy, 7, Saini Enclave, Karkardooma, Delhi — 110092, India ("we", "us", "our"). By using the website or purchasing any Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the details on your account and for keeping your login credentials (including magic-link emails) confidential. Activity on your account is your responsibility.
• One account is for one student. Account sharing is not permitted.

2. The Services

• Courses: structured online DJ courses (including Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 and DDJ-400 curricula) with video lessons, quizzes and the browser-based virtual controller.
• LaunchPath membership: a paid community with tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold) whose inclusions and prices are listed on the Pricing page. Entitlements (e.g. mentor sessions per month, Gold-exclusive content) are as displayed at the time of purchase.
• Mentor sessions: live 1-on-1 sessions bookable from within the membership, subject to your tier's monthly quota and mentor availability.
• In-person programs: classroom/studio training at our Delhi studio, governed additionally by the enrolment terms shared at admission.

3. Payments

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes (GST) are shown at checkout.
• Online payments are processed through a secure, PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI or banking credentials.
• Memberships are pre-paid blocks (monthly, quarterly or annual). Your access runs for the period purchased; renewal terms are as displayed at checkout.
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy; delivery of purchased access is described in the Service Delivery Policy.

4. Intellectual property & licence

• All course videos, SetSheets, lesson materials, transition breakdowns, the virtual controller, branding and platform software are the property of Stem Music Academy or its licensors.
• Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream and use the materials for your own learning, for the duration of your access.
• You may not download (except where the platform explicitly provides it), record, rip, re-upload, resell, share or publicly distribute any course content or Gold-exclusive material.

5. Community rules & member content

• Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, spam, and piracy discussion are prohibited and may lead to content removal, suspension or termination without refund.
• Music sharing in the community is links-only, to legal sources. Uploading or linking to pirated audio files is strictly prohibited.
• You retain ownership of content you post (posts, crates, contest entries) and grant us a licence to host and display it within the community. You warrant that you have the rights to whatever you post.
• We may moderate, remove content, or act on takedown notices. To report infringing or unlawful content, contact the Grievance Officer listed in our Privacy Policy.

6. Mentor sessions

• Sessions must be booked and used within their membership month as per your tier quota; unused sessions do not carry forward unless stated otherwise.
• If you cannot attend, reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows count as a used session. If a mentor cancels, the session is rescheduled at no cost.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

• The Services are provided on a reasonable-efforts, "as available" basis. Occasional maintenance windows or third-party outages may temporarily interrupt access.
• DJ skill outcomes depend on the learner; we do not guarantee gigs, income, followers or specific results.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms (including piracy, account sharing or abusive conduct). Fees already paid are not refundable on termination for breach.

9. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer-law rights you hold.
